First I looked at the derelict houses and factories in the Manchester area. I also looked into the failing industry due to the recessions effect upon the buildingindustry. Buildings sites have just been left since the day thecontractors stopped getting payed. whilst taking these images i startedto connect the feel of taking images on a battlefield months after abattle like the rust nails being rusty ammunition, or a helmet of a fallensolider.
